Lid goes to Vegas

On a recent trip to Vegas The Lid discovered a wonderful way to save money. We rented a Cabana at the Bellagio for a day at $350. At first glance, your typical tight wad penny pincher is gonna say no way, but The Lid quickly put a pencil to it.
I calculate my average losses for a day in the Casino to be around $450, $250 for my wife and probably around $100 each for my two daughters.
The Cabana has a fridge full of soft drinks and snacks, a large LCD, card table ,couch, 4 lounge chairs outside, and a great view of the pool. What am I missing here? You rent the Cabana all day long, every day. Hell, you even have room to spend a couple hundred on booze.
The same reasoning applies to paying the exorbitant green fees to play very ordinary golf courses while in Vegas. You simply compare Casino costs to Green Fees. This makes even the most expensive course, Shadow Creek, at $500 a sweet deal, considering they include a limo and range balls.

Who is the Lid?

Well, that would be me. The Lid is an undeniable force of nature, a gift I was born with. I have the ability to discourage people from spending money on unneeded luxuries, and also enable people to satisfy or suspend their spending urge through counseling and coaching. We all get a euphoric high from spending money and making the big purchase, the trick is to spend less, but still get the high and feel good about yourself. The Lid Lives! Our entire culture today is based on convincing us to spend more than we make, to even go deeply in debt so we can be as happy and as cool as the characters we see on TV or in the media. The Lid Lives to help all people, especially my wife and children, spend less money than they make and be happy, a truly unique concept.
